In this picture everything seems to in order and perfect. Then you look on the table and all i can see are crumbs. Something so small just took over the picture.
This blog started out as an assignment for a college class but turned into an obsession. Now I'm using this as a way to share my work and thoughts beyond the classroom. My photographs explore the everyday connections between humans and food, rather than the glorified dishes we see in the media. I seek to capture what can be seen about individuals and the way they interact with food; whether it is selling, purchasing, eating (or what they choose not to). It is important to recognize that the photographs in this series were never staged, nor did I pose any of the individuals or objects. These were all naturally occurring subjects in my daily life, in which I was able to give an accurate and unique representation of the relationships I wanted to explore.
